Matt Damon: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie 'Are Like Prisoners'

For an Oscar-winning, top box-office star who has also been PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive, Matt Damon happily lives life low-key.

He can't say that for some of his high-profile pals.

"I have friends who are like prisoners. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, for instance," Damon, 40, told German television TELE 5 over the weekend. "They can't just go someplace. If they go for a walk, it turns into an international incident."

In contrast, says Damon, "I'm really lucky, because I have the best of both worlds. I do the work that I love and need, but don't need paramilitary troops to protect me when I walk out my front door."

Besides, fame just isn't Damon's game.

"Ever since I found my wife [Luciana] and we had children, my whole life revolves around that. It gave my life a dramatic change in direction," he says.

Married in 2005, the couple have four daughters.

"I'm not as crazy as most of the other stars. I don't really know why, probably because I married a woman who isn't an actress. And we live in New York," he said. "As long as we don't show up in typical tourist spots, we can walk the streets without being noticed. New Yorkers are very cool, they don't flip out if they see me."

One of the last times they were in the public eye together, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were sharing the stage – and a passionate kiss – at the May 25 American Idol finale.

But after news broke Friday that the power couple were ending their marriage, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE that Anthony, 42, and Lopez, 41, who have two children, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme, together, split "after months of nonstop arguing."

"Marc and Jennifer decided it's best to go their separate ways for the sake of their two kids," the source says.

Anthony spent the weekend in Colombia, where he put his marital woes aside to put on an upbeat performance. The only reference to his marriage came in the form of a joke. "They're saying I'm single," he told the audience.

Meanwhile, Lopez was back to work Sunday at Milk Studios in L.A., where she was shooting an ad campaign for her Kohl's fashion line.

"Jennifer is doing okay," the source says. "In the past two weeks, she has spent a lot of quality time with her kids and her family in L.A."

The source adds: "She is, of course, sad that she and Marc didn't work out, but they both feel they have tried everything."

David and Victoria Beckham are spending quiet family time together welcoming their new arrival – and first baby girl – Harper Seven Beckham, and relishing their privacy, a rep for the couple tells PEOPLE.

But the question lingers: How did the parents of three boys – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8½, and Cruz, 6½ – ever arrive at the name Harper, let alone Seven?

It may not be as complicated as you think.

Harper is an old English name that Victoria has always loved, PEOPLE has learned, and seven is considered a very lucky spiritual number.

In addition, Harper Seven was born Sunday morning in L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center weighing 7 lbs. (and 10 oz.) in the seventh hour in the seventh month – on the seventh day of the week.

As sports fans can't help but also note, seven was David's jersey number for Manchester United and the English national team.

Speaking of numbers, the Irish bookmaking firm of Paddy Power has offered odds of 100:1 on Harper's following in dad’s footsteps and going out for the England Women’s team. The odds of her becoming a singer in the mode of her former Spice Girl mom are 16:1.

The time has come for Jewel to sing lullabies.

The singer and her husband, professional bull rider Ty Murray, welcomed a son, Kase Townes Murray, on Monday evening in Texas, their rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Kase arrived at 7 p.m. CST and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.

"Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world," Jewel tells PEOPLE. "We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!"

Jewel found out she was pregnant on the first day of her job co-hosting Bravo's reality show Platinum Hit. "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" she told PEOPLE. "It was so hard to keep it a secret."

The Grammy-nominated singer, 36, who had struggled to conceive, was hit by a fire truck in March at five months pregnant. She was released from the hospital after tests concluded she and her unborn child were unharmed.

The couple, who live on a 2,200-acre farm in Stephenville, Texas, have spent the spring converting a guest room in their home into a nursery. Jewel has also been working on a new children's album, The Merry Goes 'Round, out in August.

Jewel and Murray – co-founder of the Professional Bull Riders, nine-time world champion and a color commentator for Built Ford Tough Series broadcasts – wed in a beach ceremony in the Bahamas in 2008.
