Ja Rule To Release New Album One Day Before Going To Jail!
Well, that's quite a departing gift, isn't it?
Before beginning his two-year jail sentence for gun possession, Ja Rule has promised fans that he will be releasing a new album - one day before reporting to jail!!
Over the weekend, he wrote on his Twitter account:
Breaking news………RENAISSANCE PROJECT JUNE 7th!!! Mpire Music…Ja pled guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon after he was arrested during a traffic stop. Police found an unlicensed .40 caliber handgun in the backseat of his Maybach.
Last week, a judge allowed Ja to finish his album and resolve an outstanding tax issue until June 8.
This will be his first album release since 2007's The Mirror.
We bet Ja fans are happy that the judge granted him time to finish the album.
With four years of material, we have expectations for the new disc. Too bad he won't be able to celebrate the release of his album - unless he has a party of one behind bars.
